Questions about Connected AI
Does it cost anything?
No. Connecting is free on TheShop. Claude works on its free plan; ChatGPT needs a paid plan for now.
Which AI apps work?
Claude (free plan and up) through a custom connector, ChatGPT paid plans through Developer mode, and any app or script that can send a key — Shortcuts, Zapier, n8n or your own code.
Can my AI pay with my card?
No. Your AI never sees your payment details. It places the order and sends you a secure payment link — you pay.
How do I stop it?
Open Connected Agents in your account and tap Revoke. Access ends that second. You can also untick a permission or lower a limit without revoking.
What if my AI adds something I did not want?
Nothing ships until you pay. Check the payment link before paying, or edit the cart on TheShop first. Spending limits also cap what any single order can reach.
Is my account safe?
Yes. Your AI gets its own key with only the permissions you tick — never your password. Every action is logged, limits are enforced on our side, and you can revoke in 1 tap. When it orders without asking for your details, it reuses the phone and address from your last order — and only ever sees the town and the last 2 digits of your number.
