What is TheShop.mu?
TheShop.mu is the online grocery supermarket operated by TheShop.mu Ltd, a Mauritian family business trading since 1983. We deliver fresh, frozen, and pantry groceries anywhere in Mauritius.
Do I need an account to order?
You can browse freely, but you will need a quick account to check out so we can confirm your delivery address and keep your order history.
Delivery
Where do you deliver?
We deliver island-wide across Mauritius. Pickup from our Riche Terre facility is also available and always free.
How much does delivery cost?
Next-day delivery is free across the island. Same-day delivery is free on orders above Rs 7,500. The minimum order value is Rs 2,000.
When will my order arrive?
Order before 1:00 PM for same-day delivery between 4:00 and 6:00 PM. Otherwise we deliver next day. You choose your slot at checkout.
Returns
What if an item is missing or damaged?
Contact us with your order number and we will arrange a refund or replacement. Email [email protected] or call our support line.
Can I cancel my order?
Orders can be cancelled before they are dispatched. Get in touch as soon as possible and we will sort it out.
Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
MCB Juice, blink by Emtel, MauCAS QR, and any credit or debit card — all processed securely through Peach Payments (PCI DSS Level 1). We never store your card number.
Do you offer business credit accounts?
Yes. Registered businesses can apply for a 30-day credit facility with a single consolidated monthly invoice. Contact our corporate team to apply.
